Safaris in the Maasai Mara can be ridiculously expensive, not only for the entrance fee and the 4×4 rental but, also, because accommodation isn’t cheap, not at all.  The luxury facilities are truely expensive some charging hundreds of dollars per person per night; fortunately for budget travelers, you can find a couple of relatively cheap camps just outside the game reserve park, which could help you bring costs down.

Budget accommodation will range from USD 30 - USD per person per night on full board basis exclusive of park fees, transport and all the extras. 

 

Miti Mingi Camp

The budget camps are usually self contained with hot showers and flush toilet and has warm comfortable beds and beddings. Persons travelling together share a tent with one or two beds inside but you can also have own single tent for solo Travellers. The meals are basic meals for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The camp runs on generator power switched on in the mornings and evenings and have sockets for charging phones and cameras
