Introduction

As a budget-friendly, intimate camp, they focus on delivering genuine safari moments—from the majestic wildlife sightings to the stunning, star-filled nights. Whether you arrive by road, feeling the landscape change around you, or by air, soaring over the vast plains, Rhino Tourist Camp is your gateway to an unforgettable adventure.

Rhino Tourist Camp features 25 spacious, permanent safari tents, offering a blend of rustic charm and practicality. We provide Classic and Superior tent categories, which can be configured as double, twin, triple, or family units (accommodating up to 4 guests). Each tent is thoughtfully furnished with comfortable beds, fresh linen, and protective mosquito nets. The en-suite facilities include a flush toilet, washbasin, and a hot shower, ensuring comfort after a day on safari.

The heart of the camp is the central lounge and bar area, where guests gather to share stories of the day's adventures. Evenings often feature a campfire under the stars, a beloved tradition for socializing and listening to the sounds of the night. Their spacious, open-sided dining area serves a variety of hearty and delicious meals, catering to both international and local Kenyan tastes, with dedicated options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

The camp is easily accessible, approximately a 5-6 hour scenic drive from Nairobi or a short 45-minute flight to a nearby airstrip, with transfers arranged to the camp. Please note that to preserve the serene atmosphere and natural environment, power is supplied by generator during set hours: morning (6:00 AM - 10:00 AM) and evening (7:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
