Nairobi National Park is managed by the Kenya Wildlife Service and has various entrance charges and fees for residents, non residents and citizens.

If you are looking to visit the park it is important to know the applicable entrance fee for your visit. On self drive, you can obtain the Nairobi National park entrance fees and charges online from the KWS website. However, For only USD 45 per person in a group of minimum 2, you can enjoy a full game package with transport pick up from your place of stay, park fees and game drives and additional complimentary T-shirts and drinking water. Please note that this is exclusive of park entrance fees that you pay directly at the gate to KWS depending on your nationality as below.

Nairobi National Park is Kenya’s oldest national park. It is also the best places to see wildlife when visiting the city. Plan at least half a day, inclusive of the time it will take to drive to and from, to explore this park. Nairobi National park provides a great option for persons on short time and looking for adventure not far from Nairobi.

The park is open everyday Monday to Sunday and the best visiting times for a great game drive is Early morning as from 6 am - 12 noon or Evening Game drive as from 2pm - 6pm. Wildlife includes the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse bird life with over 400 species recorded.
